The anti-slag component comes from natural vegetable oil, which is environmentally friendly and does not cause marine pollution. Moreover, it does not generate wastewater from secondary cleaning, reduces slag adhesion, and saves time on grinding, thus improving work efficiency and quality.During the ship repair process, if the slag (bead) is not cleaned properly, it can lead to corrosion of the base material in harsh marine environments, despite having a rust-proof coating on the surface. The salt content and high temperature of seawater can easily corrode the base material through the slag (bead), causing the entire hull to deteriorate, thereby affecting the vessel itself. This cannot be ignored. In the case study, after using the German anti-slag agent, slag removal became easier and did not affect subsequent painting operations, which was truly a boon for shipbuilders and repairers.
